hopscotch and an amputee chicken.

Look what just went down in my hallway. Hopscotch. Oh yeah!

It's just a vinyl decal I got from here. I bet you could make this easily if you had a Cricut or Silhouette, or other magic cutting machine of my dreams. The decal can be easily removed without messing up the floor for all of you concerned adults.

I love how it tries to be all grown-up with the white color-palette, but in the end it's still a game of hopscotch. I identify with you little hopscotch, I do.
Too deep?
Yeah, I thought so. Moving on.

And for my latest ginormo-wreath update, I decided to make a little chalk-board to go in the middle of my wreath, so I can write all sorts of messages. Check it out!

This was Daniel's idea! Although he likes to pretend that he's too manly to have decorating ideas, he's really got some good ones folks ;)

Obviously I need to brush up on my bubble letters a bit... I just haven't had the time lately to practice. My sixth-grade self would be embarrassed to see these. Also, my birdie looks a bit like an amputee chicken. Oh well :)

Lots of love,

  1. We have a chalkboard and I love it :) These are gorgeous.
